Hardware and software as one system

Stage 2 is where calibration and supporting hardware come together. A high-flow intake, an upgraded intercooler and a sports-cat or decat downpipe let the engine breathe properly. The map is then written around that new spec to extract the gains the hardware allows.

Hardware without calibration leaves performance on the table. Calibration without hardware risks the platform. Both, planned together, deliver a serious step up over Stage 1 with reliability intact.
